The results of the poll indicated a decent majority favored a Jade for this event, so here they are!
Jades are native to Irelyn and south coastal forests of Deoryth. This one's name and story are up to you!

THERE ARE SO MANY ENTRIES? I honestly was not expecting this kind of turnout. These critters can be a challenge to draw but holy crap, so many of you took it on! I really appreciate everyone who put their time and effort into trying out for this bab. And I am blown away by the overall quality of the entries too--you guys are freaking amazing. It certainly made it difficult to pick just one image out of this lot of winners. But we're going to do it anyway because it's a contest and THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE WINNER so here we go!
As a reminder, judging was based purely on visual art--creativity and effort with the work were the key factors! However, ngl--I loved all the stories! Those were wonderful and I'm REALLY EXCITED there's interest in the lore. Just wait, there will be a story-oriented adopt in the future for you writerfolk. By then there'll be more info available to g

Thaevern [THAY-vern] is the second planet of the Keado star system. 
It is a rocky world with an oxygen rich atmosphere, liquid water oceans, a large molten metallic core, a ring system, and no satellites. In many ways, this planet follows the Earth template. It supports life, has blue skies and (some) green flora. The surface sometimes takes on un-earthlike colors from its minerals and life. A human would have no trouble visiting, but we don't recommend living there.

DTA RULES
  • Entrants must be a member of Oshrathari
  • Entries must be submitted to the [DTA contest folder] before the deadline
  • Deadline is July 7th, Midnight CST [5:00 UTC]
  • Winner may NOT resell design. Trading or gifting is fine!
  • Credit me where appropriate please
  • Making small changes to the design is alright if you ask me first
  • You don't have to draw all the scales, stylizing is fine!
  • Entries must be SFW
  • Entries will be judged on creativity and show of effort
  • Submission must be a 2D visual entry (ex: digital or traditional art, renders of a model, animations, anything that can be delivered in a digital visual format)
  • No limit on number of submissions per person HOWEVER note that only one image will win. My advice is to focus on just one entry, quantity won't help your chances
  • Everyone who does not currently have a custom is free to enter!
  • Adding clothing/accessories is fine
  • Bonus points if you remember the whiskers
  • Don't hesitate to ask me anything! Shoot me a note or comment with any questions you might have

WHAT THE WINNER GETS
  • A one of a kind Oshrathari! Entirely common traits. Uncommon breed.
  • The usual adoptable rules apply: Partial rights to the design which include the right to use/rp/draw this character however you like! I still retain the commercial rights and IP of the species and their world, but you can do pretty much anything you like with them so long as you aren't profiting from the design.
  • Right to crop, resize, and add a background for whatever uses you might have!
  • Full Resolution transparent .png file of the design
